1. Why use a recruitment company at all?
 

Your recruitment company of choice will increase your bottom line - by identifying candidates who can add real value to your operation. While the recruitment company takes care of finding you the right people, it allows you to get on with focusing on your own business.

2. Why Ukukhula People?
 

We strive to match the right candidates with the right employers. We do not play the "numbers game" - throwing dozens of applicants at a vacancy in the hope that one will “stick”. This frustrates everyone and wastes valuable productive business hours both for the employer and the candidate. Instead we isolate two high quality candidates for a position, using our proven expertise and techniques.
 
Our recruitment consultants all come from financial and IT backgrounds that are relevant to your business, and understand the needs and expectations of our clients. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and knowledge. 

3. What industries do you cover?
 

Financial :

Certified financial planners (CFP), Chartered accountants (CA(SA)), Legal and compliance (LLB); Chartered financial Analyst (CFA), Actuarial.

Information Technology :

Graduates in Information Technology & Computer Science, Project management, MCSE Qualified, Database Administration, Business Analysis, System Analysis.

4. What are the fees?
 

Fees are based on a percentage of the annual cost to company in most cases. However, our fees are tailored to meet our clients’ needs.  Should you require further information please feel free to contact us.

5. What if it doesn't work out with the employee?
 

We will do everything in our power to prevent this happening. However, from time to time situations may arise that are beyond everyone’s control. We provide a negotiated replacement guarantee should a candidate not work out. We will be in regular contact with you and the candidate during this period to ensure all is well. If there are any issues, we are there to support you and assist with resolving them.

6.  How long does a position stay open?
 

Positions can stay open for a few months depending on the particular requirements of the client and the role. Sometimes highly-specialised roles can be difficult to fill so the job remains open until the right candidate is found. When jobs are filled, the position will be closed and will no longer be available to view on the website.

7. Will my CV stay confidential once I register?
 

Confidentiality is a key aspect of our business. We will not send your details to any client without your prior permission, nor do we share your details with any other organisation unless we have your permission to do so.

8. I registered 6 months ago and I haven’t heard anything. Why?
 

We receive candidate registrations every day so it is often impossible to contact every candidate who registers with us. However, the database is scanned daily for suitable candidates for all new positions; if we do match you with an open position, we will be in contact to discuss the role in more detail.

9. Are there any charges for registering?
 

There are no charges for our candidates at any stage of the recruitment process.
